It seems that not all young adults are as keen to drive as past generations were. Members of the millennial generation (born between 1980 and 2000) are taking longer to get their driving license and driving less than the baby boomers. Millennials are now the largest generation in Australia and how they travel as they age will have significant impacts on Victoria’s roads and rail transport system.
Dr Alexa Delbosc at the Monash University Institute of Transport Studies wants to investigate how millennials travel and how they see their life unfolding as they age. She has set up the Millennial Mobility Panel Study to learn more. Participants will fill out a short (10-minute) web survey about how they travel and how they see their life unfolding.
We need your help to make this exciting research project a reality.
